Wisdom of God’s creation (al-ḥikma fī makhaluqāt Allāh)
This is a short treatise by Imām al-Ghazālī that is in fifteen chapters as follows:
Chapter 1 on contemplating the creation of the heavens and this world
Chapter 2 on the wisdom in creating the sun;
Chapter 3 on wisdom in creating the moon and planets;
Chapter 4 on the wisdom in creating the earth;
Chapter 5 on the wisdom in creating Oceans and seas;
Chapter 6 on the wisdom in creating water;
Chapter 7 on the wisdom in creating Air;
Chapter 8 on the wisdom in creating Fire;
Chapter 9 on the wisdom in creating Human being;
Chapter 10 on the wisdom in creating birds;
Chapter 11 on the wisdom in creating beasts of burden;
Chapter 12 on the wisdom in creating insects;
Chapter 13 on the wisdom in creating fish and sea life;
Chapter 14 on the wisdom in creating plants;
and a final chapter 15 on how the hearts [of believers] feel the greatness of the all knowing [God].
