Prof. Massimo Campanini has published an annotated Italian translation of al-Ghazali’s Munqidh (Deliverance from Error) and Mishkat al-Anwar (Niche of Lights). The reference is al-Ghazālī, Le luci della sapienza, edited by Massimo Campanini (Milan: Oscar Mondadori, 2012).
I have reported on the new edition of the ihya’. Now I have uploaded the first three chapters of book 1, kitab al-’ilm, in four files. This should give you a new idea of what the edition contains and to be able to compare it to the other editions that are online on this website.
In a previous post I mentioned that I would have more information and pictures of the edition. Dar al-Minhaj has no information about this edition on their website. In fact I fear that the website has not been updated in some time. At any rate this is an important edition that deserves a close look.
